Basics

Here is a brochure you can view and print out to share with adminstration about the GOAL course.

The unique design of GOAL allows an agriculture educator to continue to serve the current students in agriscience classes, while at the same time overseeing the student(s) who is/are enrolled in the on-line GOAL course. Weekly students in the GOAL course complete readings, observations, worksheets and other assignments and turn those into you. You assign grades and can modify assignments to fit your situation!

Two things need to happen for your student to take the GOAL Course and get credit for it:

  1. You need to send me an email with this attachment filled out completely for each student.
  2. Student must be enrolled in a course at your school to recieve local credit. At present there is no national recognized course. Enrollment examples: Advanced Agriculture Studies, Agriculture Internship, etc.

Make sure students must have this Parent/Guardian Consent Form signed to participate in this class, or create your own form to cover student travel during the class.

Students are encouraged to fillout this extra credit sheet each week and add the points to any assignment.

This link is a listing of all the assignments week by week you can use to check off and set deadlines with.
